Ms. Baxter has 25+ years of experience working with businesses to implement change – from changes in real estate utilization, to changes in culture or technology. She is a client advocate who can uniquely combine the ability to recommend the strategies that drive the desired business outcome as well as have the leadership insight to oversee adoption of the change.
Debbie is a Partner in Real Estate Advisory for Deloitte Canada, responsible for working with clients to ideate, design and implement their Real Estate strategies and projects.
She is most passionate about the "Future of Work" - working with clients to adapt their business to the trends evident in our economy and society that will challenge our existing infrastructure and drive the need for a new way of thinking about work environments.
Debbie’s efforts have been recognized on a national level. In 2013, Debbie was named to the Top 100 WXN list of the Most Powerful Women in Canada in the Trailblazer Category.
With a background in operations and technology, Debbie is a Certified Management Consultant, Certified Public Accountant and holds a Corporate Directors ICD.D designation.

Ms. Borsook is one of the most recommended commercial leasing and infrastructure lawyers in the country, widely recognized for her knowledge, experience and commitment to her clients and the profession. She is currently the Executive Partner of WeirFoulds LLP, a downtown Toronto law firm and was the firm’s managing partner from 2007 to 2012, making her one of only a few women to have served as Managing Partner of a law firm in Canada.
Lisa is the co-chairperson of the firm’s Commercial Leasing Practice Group and a member of the Business Law Practice Group. She has been recognized as a leading practitioner by Lexpert® and named one of the best lawyers in her practice area by The Best Lawyers® in Canada since 2006. Lisa has also been recognized as a leading practitioner since 2011 in Lexpert®/American Lawyer Media Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada. Lisa is the recipient of the 2014 OBA Award of Excellence in Real Estate. She has been inducted into the Women's Executive Network's (WXN) Top 100: Most Powerful Women in Canada Hall of Fame, and has received the Zenith Award, Laura Legge Award, and the ICRF Women of Action Award for achievements in business and law.
Lisa currently serves on the Equity Advisory Group of the LSO. She is on the SCG Legal and Sunnybrook Foundation boards, has received her ICD.D Corporate Director’s designation and is on the Canadian Board Diversity Council’s 2016 Diversity 50 roster. Lisa is also the recipient of the 2017 Canadian Civil Liberties Association award for Excellence in Law.
In addition to these activities, she continues to fight to bring issues concerning equity, diversity and inclusion to the forefront and champions these causes in the legal and business marketplace.
